I am not intimidated by all-grain!

As everyone is saying, just convert a cooler into a MLT. I think mine cost me $30 total for all the materials. If you don't have money or room for a turkey fryer you could just boil it on your stove top. I used to live in a very small place and when I started AG brewing I did 2.5 gallon...

    Oktoberfest Munich cost

Rico has the right idea. Stay in a near by town and commute in, the Deutsche Bahn trains are frequent and efficient. Do not get too anxious about flights, you are planning a good amount in advance and a sale will happen.

    Stout recipe help

Thanks for the reply. I forgot to say that I am doing a small batch, 2.5 gallons. But that recipe seems pretty close to what I was thinking. I'll have to see how dark the LHBS's roasted barley is and adjust accordingly. We shall see how this goes.

Pinhead Wheat Stout, Puffed Wit, 2-batch Stovetop adventure day

I think the LHBS ( assuming we are speaking of the same one ) is kind of hit or miss, it all depends who is working really. Some know their stuff, others well....the mix bag of grains really tells the tale.

    German Kolsch extract recipe

Hello all. I've fairly new to brewing still, this will be my 3rd extract batch and I am looking to create a nice lighter beer for the upper coming spring/summer months. So I have decided on a Kolsch and I am looking for some pointers regarding a recipe. The most important thing to realize for...

Honey Brown Ale...so far im semi disappointed

If it is very flat and sweet perhaps carbonation is not completed and therefore there is excess sugar still in there. Give it some more time.
