A member of our home brew club gave me leftover washed yeast about 9 months ago. It has been in the frig all that time but now I think I want to try and use it. Can I just make a yeast starter with good nutrient and reuse? Will it come "back to life"?

I prepared a yeast starter with the intention of brewing today. Due to a sudden work emergency I have to postpone brewing today. The next opportunity will be next week. I'm putting alum foil over the flask and securing it and then putting it in the frig. Will that be ok, and if so when I do go...
Thanks and excellent. The liquid extract was from Muntons and it turned out to be 55% wheat and 45% barley (which I take is 2-row). The dry I used was 65% wheat and 35% barley.

While I have been all grain brewing for a while I have.n extract recipe I made a while back I'd like to convert to all grain. How is the best way to do that?
