17 gal of RIS in a 20 gal fermenter!

So we finally got around to brewing this yesterday 6 gal test before 18 gal for the barrel everything went perfect hit all my targets 1.098 S.G. and 1.125 O.G. Pitched a good starter of WLP007 stepped up with 6 2000ml starters pitched and was ripping in about and hour still going crazy here...

The idea of the heat sink is to wick away heat from the solid state device so u really want it on the outside of a box or panel! Heat is a solid state devices worst enemy!

if im looking at that rite you need to double check it. for 220 you need both legs there is no neutral. its just a 3 wire system to hots and a ground if your ssr is like any of the other ones ive seen you have your neutral hooked up to the input to acually switch the ssr it wont hurt anything it...

Thank u Ya plus #12 for an element just get some #10 S/O chord it's made for the job and its beefy built to get the **** kicked out of it! Even on the job I hate running M/C CABLE much rather pipe it! All about craftsmanship!!
