    string/wire for hops?

    twine works fine....my parents grew hops for 40 years as shade on the end of a 2 story house....many times hops went all the way to the crown. Never used anything but normal hardware store twine.

    Kegco 3 roller Grain Mill

    They are all cartridge bearing now. I customer service when I ordered mine and was told the first batch they did was bushings but have been bearings since. Very happy with mine. I couldn't imagine doing 20 lbs of grain by hand though. It's a workout to crank. I use a corded 1/2" Milwaukee...

    Trub plugged pickup ???

    Been there.... I transferred to a corny before it was fully done fermenting and dry hopped with almost 4 oz....I was going on vacation for a week and was reallllly impatient/wanted it done when I came back. I had successfully used a corny for secondary before, but with far less dry hops...

    Is the Chief Brewer in your home brew operation male or female?

    I voted male because it's my equipment/house. Depending on the brew day my daughter is the boss. Her beer...she runs the show.

    Cracked corn provides the flavor in many shine recipes where all the fermentables are provided by table sugar.

    45, and I feel every year of it. Sometimes none...usually some. Sometimes a lot. Actual volume is hard to monitor with kegs.

    Freezer recommendation

    I've used both a Magic Chef 6.9 and the 7. (?) Chest freezers. Both will fit 4 on the floor without a collar. Co2 on the hump no problem.

    ^^^ was that previously domed or was it flat and crushed?
