I have came to the conclusion this carboy possibly has a more "etched" surface than some others. I know glass is fairly inert BUT it used to be a Heinz container so maybe if it stored vinegar the surface has micro etching that holds the bubbles.

Hi, I noticed when I racked my crab apple wine the first time 1 of the two carboys has clinging bubbles to the inside of the glass.. the other does not. Does this mean anything?

So I started my first couple batches of wine with concord grapes from our garden, yeast ro water and sugar. I made 2 one gallon jugs of it. It seems to be coming along well started fermenting and airlocked now. I was just wondering if having a few of the stems left in there may be not good...
