    I have came to the conclusion this carboy possibly has a more "etched" surface than some others. I know glass is fairly inert BUT it used to be a Heinz container so maybe if it stored vinegar the surface has micro etching that holds the bubbles.     Hi, I noticed when I racked my crab apple wine the first time 1 of the two carboys has clinging bubbles to the inside of the glass.. the other does not. Does this mean anything? Some things to note the bubbles were also there when cleaning the carboys and the carboy with bubbles looked to have...

    So I started my first couple batches of wine with concord grapes from our garden, yeast ro water and sugar. I made 2 one gallon jugs of it. It seems to be coming along well started fermenting and airlocked now. I was just wondering if having a few of the stems left in there may be not good...
