I work out 5/6 days a week and struggle to keep my weight down with as much beer as I consume (5'10" 180lbs). But, I enjoy working out as much as I enjoy brewing and consuming beer. So, I can't complain. :tank:

I've always loved craft beers and often thought of brewing my own beer. I love to cook as well. I just brewed my first beer in Sept of this year and it came out great which has inspired me to keep brewing.
Sitting at work hungover today, this thread made my day!! I can't really contribute yet as I haven't brewed enough to make any epic mistakes. But, I'm sure I'll be sharing one day.
I think it depends on your stove mostly. I've read other people on here getting 8+ gallons to boil on an electric range (perhaps it was gas?).
Toss some water in there before the weekend and test it out.
