    Friends, Thanks for the info. The photo is only of a bucket of lees to show the infection clearly and this juice has since been discarded, but the wine I would like to save is in carboys with vented vapor seals that also have a milder version of this infection.     White film

    I mentioned earlier in my Melton Hill vineyard post that the small red grapes were not fermenting and instead formed a while sum like film on top. I never had this problem in 40 years of wine making and wonder if insecticide used early in the year may have killed the new yeast?
