I work over at the Beaumont location and was a mess, but I've tried to make it better since being thrown in the home brew section. Or at least I hope it is, its really hard to get anything productive done at that place.
Less oats, I might try that. I'm going to be using White Labs British Ale yeast, I have never used White labs before and my LBS just got some in so I figured I would give it a shot.

I found this recipe in the Wall Street Journal, kinda based on George Washington recipe. I was wondering if what type of barley and extract would work the best? also would I just multiply everything, except the yeast, by 5 to make a full 5 gallon batch?
