Well if anyone is interested in an update I stopped by and took a sample and it smelled just as it should. It had that see some malty yeast character that you would expect and no fusels alcohols. So we moved it.to.a.closet that remains cool. The temp.was showing 79 when I got here so we will see...

If it does produce a lot of fusels alcohols before I can get it moved is there anyway I can clean that up? Or am I stuck with it?

The thing I love about brewing the most is that everyone has their own set up and style. I personally did opt for the bigger pot, but I also purchased a couple of 15.5 ga sanke kegs that I'm turning into fermentors. I'm not trying to jack the thread but there is a lot of good advice here.

Yeah I didn't have a thermowell until now. But at the moment I was following fuzze's instructions on setting it up to make it public and now the Pi powers up but nothing loads. I reloaded noobs onto another SD card but no change..

So I have a half gallon jug of water as a test to see how it keeps up the temperature. It's been running three hours now showing consistent swings in temperature from 63-60-63. I feel like 3 degrees is too many. Anyway to stop that?
