A friend of my father's had an old extract kit around, the can says "best by jan 97" which I'm sure is well past its prime. The more interesting thing I got though is the Warsteiner "keg cans" and draft system. It didn't come with instructions on sanitizing, filling, or how to set it up. I hope...

I just finished drinking the batch I made. Made it following the instructions, probably my favorite beer I've brewed. Not really hoppy, but not too light.

I was thinking of putting it in some type of cider...

As far as I know its straight fructose... brother in law works in a food processing plant.

Brother in law game me a 5 lb. bucket of liquid fructose... Any suggestions on what I could do with it? Not sure on how much to use in a batch or what to make...

Been doing extract brews for about a year, never had a failed brew, only one brew I didn't particularly enjoy. Soon I will step up to partial mashing.

I always have a 12 pack of PBR around on brew days... Its not bad for the money, and a 30 pack of it costs the same as a 6 pack of a good craft beer.

Thanks guys, I'm looking for a quick fermentation so I can enjoy it as my last summer beer. The S-33 sounds like the perfect choice! I'll save the muntons yeast for the next cheap ale I make.

I don't have a very good means of controlling temperature, it will most likely be in the mid 70's.
