    Helping Hand

Here's the service manual Beverage Factory sent me via email in 2019.

    Kegco K309

I've never had an issue with any configuration. You can definitely put 2 sixth barrels in the front and 1 corny in the back with room for 2 gas tanks. Not 100% certain you can put three sixth barrels as I haven't tried, but I made an CAD drawing where you can move around the kegs and see for...

Yep, I have the same triple regulator; it's tight, but it'll all fit. Can post some pics if you need.

    Coffee on nitro

You need a carbonating stone and 100% nitrogen. Extensive discussion here: http://blog.kegoutlet.com/serving-coffee-on-tap-co2-vs-nitrogen/ My results: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qSuA6yihAFE

    Coffee on nitro

Here's a video I made of me pouring a nitro cold brew coffee. https://youtu.be/1phxJJik1C0

    Coffee on nitro

In my experience any CO2 presents undesired carbonic acid flavors.

    Coffee on nitro

Happy to report I now have nitro coffee on tap at home, with the aesthetics of the pours on par with Left Hand's Nitro Milk Stout or Guiness. From my discussions with the local coffee roaster, their trick is to have a carbonating stone permanently installed in all their kegs. They charge /...

    Coffee on nitro

Local coffee shop (Novo, Denver, CO) poured me what I think we're looking for last week and I ordered a keg which arrives today. I have a stout faucet, CO2, nitro, and beer gas all ready to make this work. I'll be trying the 100% nitro at ~40 psi first.

    Coffee on nitro

Question to the people who have tasted the coffee on nitro: does the cold brew taste any different after it's been sitting on beer gas (70/30)? I would presume at 30+ psi some of the (30%) CO2 would eventually absorb into the coffee. Does it become lightly carbonated? Is there a carbonic...

    Kegco K309

I explored the possibility of attaching a hose to the preinstalled fan, but it wasn't powerful enough to send air to the top of the hose. I went with the Coldtower Super Beer Tower Cooler (1/2" air hose). The fan in the first one was noisy and quickly died but the replacement has been working...

    Kegco K309

If anyone is wondering, you can fit 3 kegs, 1 CO2 bottle, 1 nitro bottle, regulators, and tower cooling fan. Also, the 1/2" hose for the cooling fan + 3 beer lines fit in the tower too.

    Kegco K309

I had an issue with the first pour being a bit more foamy than subsequent pours. (3 fingers of foam vs. < 1 finger of foam) I found adding a tower cooler resolved this issue completely and I was able to precisely dial in hose length and keg pressure once the temperature from the tap to the keg...

    Kegco K309

Were you able to modify the built in cooling fan? I just ordered a Kegco K309SS-3 and I'm considering doing the same.

Mixed Gas Tank Fills (Denver Area)

Thanks for the info; very helpful. I just called and they now refill in just a few minutes while you wait. I was told it would be just under $20. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
