I have a two tap kegerator with Sankey heads. Can either be used to force carb? Or is one considered a “gas side” and the other a “beverage side”? Also, if either can be used, I can only get my CO2 up to 22psi. Ideas on how long to carb a 5gal keg?
could be..although what i was both told and read was that for a 12oz bottle of reculture to use 1/2 cup dme..1 cup water and 2 hop pellets...since i was using a bigger bottle I was advised to double the recipe.
Any way to save this? Should I add water to thin it out or get another bottle of...

I just did my 4the batch tonight..I got a kit from AHS for Boddingtons pub ale...My OG was 1.054 and the target was 1.044 according to teh directions...should I be worried about being high? The other three batches I did hit right on the mark. I did upgrade to the White Labs pitchable liquid...
the first one is the hardest. I have another batch just bottled 4 days ago and another in the secondary that I will be bottling this weekend...now that I have five tasty gallons to snack on the waiting for the next ones to condition won't be as bad....I agree with everyine else..it sux but...

So I made the Blue Moon wort last night and poured it through a colander (sanitized of course) and, naturally,not only did the orange peels get blocked but so did all of the hop pellet residue from the boil...I freaked out a little and put about half of it back in the fermenter...does it matter...
I am getting ready to start the Belgian WIt/Blue Moon clone...part of the boil is dried orange peels...should I strain these out as I pour into my fermenter or leave them in for flavor?
I am getting ready to do a Weiss kit and it soesnt have any DME in it just LME. THe yeast I have is a wyeast smack pack propagator..it is swelled up and ready to go..do I HAVE to do a starter or can I just put the propagotr right into teh fermenter as is?
