Help! Brewing Failures again and again

I agree with this. Sorry you are having hard time. It really should not be so frustrating. Go get some basic kits and I would not use oxy clean. I dont know about that stuff but I use c brite or another used for home brewing. I would just say get back to basics man. I have not even brewed as...

Started to ferment again after 12 days

I am kinda stumped here. Dark Ale had fermented really heavily the first two days and then subsided as normal. I have just been letting it sit in primary. Temps went it bit high at one point 75 -76 but have been back down to 73. It's really weird. Never saw this happen or heard of it before...

Thanks for all this info. The more I look into this it seems very complex and lots of work. I need to wait till I am much more advanced. The barrels are very pricey also. This requires a lot of planing and a lot of research before I can even think of attempting with out making a big mess or...

    Fermenting in Oak Barrels

So I really want to try this soon. Not sure how the best way to go about it. Would I use the barrel as a secondary? First I need to get my hands on a oak cask (anybody know where or how to get one?) Witch is the best to use? I assume that I would use a primary glass carboy and age in the...

    Belgian Triple

Hello everyone, this may be a stupid question but I need to ask. I bought a brewers best belgian triple kit and it has been in a primary and everything is going just fine. My question is being that this is a kit and not all grain should I just do what I normally do with other kits? Normally I...
