    Beersmith 2 nano-magic equipment profile

Has anyone come up with an equipment profile for the Sabco Nano-magic? I have the opportunity to begin to use one and would like to create a profile on my beersmith for it. Thanks in advance.

Mash temp. was way to high

I did the same thing as well on a scotch ale, mashed way to high on accident, started with a OG of 1.084, and it died in the fermenter at 1.040...not really sure what to do with it now.

    saison recipe help?

I agree with using pilsner for a saison, as well as putting some orange peel in. im also thinking about trying some rosehips in my next saison to see what happens with that.

    Strong Scotch Ale

Ya, my bad on that one... I have made something similar in the past, but without the peated malt and a couple other minor differences, it turned out ok, but not where i would like it, hoping the changes that i have will make that deference. i reposted in the proper forum though. thanks.

Looking to buy a 9 gallon kettle, any suggestions?

Like one of the posts above me, Adventures In Homebrewing has a great pot for $79. Two welding ports for valve and thermometer. It has served me well. www.homebrewing.org they are a great group of people.

Im wanting to dry hop a lager im about to make and am wondering, once i get the beer into the secondary, should i be lagering and dry hopping at the same time, or should the beer be at room temp for the dry hopping process? any input would be helpful! thanks in advance! :mug:

    T. McLickin's Vienna

That does look tasty. And does have a great color. ill have to look into switching out the carafa for the caramunich

    T. McLickin's Vienna

I added the carafa just to boost the color up to 12, i think without it i was below the style guidelines. And maybe im wrong about this, but isnt Sam Adam's Boston Lager a vienna? i know they dry hop. Maybe this is easily converted into a Oktoberfest?
