digging up this old thread but just got a grandfather connect and want to build an OBVSC (because i can't help myself). I don't want to automate the pump so i will leave that to its own manual switch. Will I need and SSR between the STC and the heating element?
Im looking at some options to add some ports to a fermentation vessel... i use it for pressure transfers... never more that 5psi. I was wondering if anyone had any info on if a weldless bulkhead would work in a pressurized vessel.
I have been getting my cask shives and bungs from NB but it seems everyone stopped selling them... besides UK brewing but they make you order 25 at a time... i just dont need to order that many. Anyone know of a supplier that sells shives and bungs in smaller quantities?

Okay so purchased a 10" banjo burner for a homemade stand. Eventually I am going to go all NG but for now I'd like to use the high pressure propane manifold I have. Problem is the threads for the orifice in the burner is 3/8NPT but the high pressure orifices that were supposed to let me set...
