    You have to take a specific gravity reading before pitching ur yeast ( this is OG, original gravity) for beer it will be around 1.040 and then take one at the end of your fermentation and this will be around 1.005 (FG, final gravity) for a lager type beer but for a full bodied beer these values...

    Coopers kit

    I've always used the coopers yeast and never had a problem, i only buy yeast if I'm doing innate brews or ag's. The yeast in the kits are usually fine :)

    I agree that the English bitter is a nice kit, and you definitely get a lovely beer if you add spray malt, but you still get a drinkable beer of you just use sugar in my opinion, especially if your only doing a lager, it just makes it better adding the malt

    Coopers kits are a great place to start, I have done all grain brews as well as partial extract brews and kit brews and I always use coopers kits, they are easy to do and Taste pretty damn good. If you need information on how to brew them then watch some videos on craigtube channel on YouTube...

    Cleaning bottles

    http://www.brew2bottle.co.uk/bottle-rinser.html one of these makes it alot easier, you just put sanitiser in the bottom and give it two to three squirts then just rinse with warm water and your done, I found it made the job much easier.

    I Have been home brewing for a few months now and although my beer/cider has all come out well with good ABV and great taste I always get a tiny bit of sediment at the bottom of the bottle after carbonating, I am lead to believe that this happens to all brews but I want to take a batch camping...
