Is my muscadine wine ready yet?

Bnew, it should be finished fermenting, but the only way to tell is if you use a hydrometer, since you dont have one its impossible to tell, get one before you make another batch of wine and use it:D, may I suggest, go to ec kraus website, they have a good, easy to understand wine making...

    Mash temps everywhere!

Preheat your cooler by adding the strike water 15 degrees hotter than strike temp, seal it up and wait 10min., if temp is too hot stir until the temp drops to strike temp, then dough in as usual. That should get you a stable temp with your mash. Seal it up, if you want to check the temp again...

    which size mash tun

Are you preheating the cooler? Get your strike water 15 degrees hotter than you wish to strike, dump it in the cooler, close lid and wait til it drops to strike temp, mash in, you should be fine.

I'd give it at least 3 weeks in primary, then bottle or keg, assuming all fermentation is complete, and I am sure it will be, good luck.:mug:
