So I have had a few Sierra Nevada pale ales recently and they just don't taste the same. It seems the hop flavor that I remember is gone and barely existent. What happened? Is it just me? I do like IPAs but drink a lot more Belgians. What's going on here I feel like it's a cruel joke. I guess...
It had the lid on the bucket and has just been sitting btw. Beer is 8% abv. And my sanitation process it dialed in. I'm going to just bottle. I aimed for 2.9 vol so even a little won't be to much to change that
So I was getting ready to bottle up a wild ale this morning and I put in the dme and had to leave to go to work. I was gone for 3.5 hours and am wondering if I should bottle it up.
My stove top boil is like the second with an 8 gal pot.
My propane burner was way more vigorous but I found not a lot of difference by using the stove, and I don't spend money on propane anymore
The last 2 batches were similar.
One is a sour mash saison.
And the other is a kettle soured saison.
Both have Brett L as I love the fruity tastes it lends which slowly transfers to hay. Mmmmm yummy
