Taprite 740 Spewing out weep hole

so its been awhile but i figured i would update. i replaced the regulator but before i did that i actually released pressure in the keg, it was blowing out liquid under high pressure so i believe what may have happened was the pressure inside the keg was higher than the regulator so it was...

guessing the diaphram is shot, so ordered a repair kit. I've had this regulator sitting around awhile and after i hooked it up to my corny i had cider coming out the weep hole of the regulator.

    Regulators For Idiots

Actually you cannot do that with secondary regulators. They are designed to accept a lower pressure from their high pressure port. Only primary regulators are designed to accept the high pressure from the bottle. So either you run a battery of primary regulators, or you run a battery of...

Kegged first batches in new system yesterday, regulator and/or CO2 freaking out

It's definitely a leak, make sure you go through EVERY fitting, i thought i had everything worked out till i realized that even the main nut that screws into the bottle's valve was leaking using those crappy o-rings they give you with trade-ins. It took me 3 refills later at a hefty cost to fix...

    kegging sanke???

Actually you can disassemble the keg with home tools, it is just difficult to clean the keg given that the hole that gives you access is so small. They use high powered washers to clean them typically. But there are people who use them for homebrewing...

    What can I expect?

I was brewing from 12:30-4:30am due to some time constraints which was my first mistake, and while trying to get things moving, I accidently dumped an extra 1/2lb of wheat DME into my hefe. I didn't break out my hydrometer because I was too tired, so I'm wondering what I can expect. I've never...
