    I think the floatees that you see are from the carb tabs. They will still be there when your beer is done. No problem though.

    just popped in 4 muntons carb tabs per bottle and resealed. Hope for the best

    You know now that I go back and check out the recipe I missed the 1-1/2 cups of priming sugar. I guess dropping in some priming pills would be the best option now? Only 48 caps wasted.

    I just bottled my second batch. It was a Caramel Cream Ale recipe that was to be primed with 4 oz vanilla and 1 cup lactose. I cut back on the vanilla to 2 oz to cut back on the sweetness. My question is being that lactose is unfermentable does that mean I might not have enough sugar to...

    I just taste tested a couple of bottles of the Brewers Best kit American Amber Ale. It has only been bottled 2 weeks and it tasted good but a little flat. I used 5o/z of priming sugar. Is this normal? How many weeks before proper carbonation? Christmas party next week. Is that too much to ask...

    Anyone have a good idea for cleaning 1" blowoff tubes. after brewing caramel cream ale the tube was pretty nasty. I let it soak overnight but that didn't seem to work.

    Same Old Question About Fermentation

    After 9 days of primary very active at first and down to 1 bubble a minute at the end I racked to the secondary. I was dissapointed in the hydro reading which was og 1048 and fg 1030. Could this be from not enough oxygen when the yeast was pitched? If I leave it in the secondary longer than 2...
