    Coopers cerveza adaptation

drinking a bottle of this beer as we speak, and have been now for about a month . It just keeps getting better! Its crystal clear with a nice pale oaky colour and leaves a slightly fruity aftertaste. My only criticism is that it is a bit sweet which I think may be something to do with the...

    Coopers cerveza adaptation

Just a quick update. Lager is going very well! I bottled it yesterday after leaving in secondary for nearly 6 weeks!! (been very busy and completely lost track of time!!). As it turns out it was a good thing, the clarity is superb and it will only get better in the bottle. Had a sneaky taste and...

I like my lagers around the 5-5.5% mark so hopefully this will work for me! Will post a review when it's finished....

Got my fridge set up in my garage, with temp controller and brewed yesterday. It started fermenting within about 8 hours! I'll let you know what the finish product is like!!!

    Does secondary improve clarity?

Thanks for the quick replies! Will leaving the bottles to carb at 60 produce off flavours? The saflager 23 that i'm using recommends an average temperature of 54F.

    Does secondary improve clarity?

I am planning on brewing a lager from a coopers cerveza kit. Im using a lager yeast and a couple of other adaptations but my question is should i rack to secondary before bottling? I have never done this before (previously I have only made ales) but I want as little sediment as possible in my...

I nearly tried that one myself, it was a toss up between the two! I will have to give it a go next time. :)

    Carbonation drops, good or bad?

A uk website>>> http://www.jbconline.co.uk/glass-bottles/beer-bottles I'm from England so it's not bad for me, but I imagine the shipping cost will be pretty steep for the US!!

    Carbonation drops, good or bad?

Cool thanks! I have the coopers ones myself. I don't suppose you know approximately how many you get in a bag? I am racking to 330ml bottles and will need about 65/70!

    Carbonation drops, good or bad?

Hi all! Just wondered what the general view on carbonation drops are, do they work as well as any other primer? I've got some ready for my next brew, but have never used them before. Drop some comments and let me know of your experiences guys!

    Coopers cerveza adaptation

From what I have read it sounds like the cerveza needs a little alteration to make a really good beer. I have seen a lot of people describe it as "watery" and "bland". I'm hoping the DME and lager yeast will add some body to the kit. And by the way it is a good idea to sanitise your equipment...

    Coopers cerveza adaptation

I've never made this kit before, or indeed any lager. However this is my 9th brew (previously I have brewed English ales) and I feel more confident in experimentation. After trawling through this forum I've concocted a recipe which I plan to brew this weekend: Can of coopers cerveza extract...
