Cream Ale Cream of Three Crops (Cream Ale)

OK recipe changed a little from above. Went with .5 lb Carafoam instead of one lb., Upped base malt .5 lb. Went with 1 ounce Perle for IBU of 13. Runoff is clearest I ever have done. Its brewing right now. Over shot preboil gravity as usual. The IPA I kegged is going to be awesome. David

Announcing 'Mash Made Easy', a mash pH adjustment assistant

I don't really understand the tool, and cannot open it on my android. If My mash ph is 5.0 after dough in, do I add Baking soda to bring it near 5.4? Tried this and made a volcano. :) I may be able to download the program on my work computer, but thought I would ask here. I make 11 gallon...

    The Air Ain't Free (O2)

You are looking at a $3 diffuser stone. I bought a 2 micron stainless steel diffuser. See the difference? Just pony up if you want better beer. I am a welder, so I get a 80 CF O2 bottle and regulator for free. David.

    Yeast harvest in a uni-tank w/dump valve

Conical fermenter just has a valve at the bottom of the cone. Open and let the stuff flow out. A jar would be the same. You can SEE what is in it. David

    Yeast harvest in a uni-tank w/dump valve

I use a conical fermenter. I dump the first trub on the first day. After about 3-5 days the yeast comes out looking good. David
