I just bought this setup from member volshersheers a couple of months ago. Long story short, after a close friend of my wife and I encountered serious health issues since then, we've decided to focus on some healthier habits for now, and unfortunately brewing doesn't lend itself to that for me...

Would using a coil (stainless or copper) mounted to a lid be able to work as both an HERMs coil and then moved to brew kettle as immersion chiller? If so, pros/cons? Thinking something simlar to this: Lid (with 3" Tri Clamp Port and Cooling Coil) | Stout Tanks & Kettles Brew Equipment

Long time BeerSmith user as well but after going through a good part of the BrewFather documentation, I'll have to give it a go. It appears to have a very clean and intuitive interface.

Anyone keg this shortly after fermentation ends rather than waiting 30 days? If so, were you happy with the beer?

I'm fairly certain that wasn't an original idea on my part. If I knew who I stole it from I'd give credit, and if I came up with it on my own, then achieving cleverness is all I ever wanted in life!
