I've found that to my tastes, Sly Fox's Phoenix Pale Ale is really enjoyable.
I'd like to brew a clone of it but I don't know where to start with a recipe.

Any advice for finding/tracking down wild hops? I am also from NJ (monmouth county) and am very curious to try finding wild hops and smelling them and trying a small batch of wild hopped beer.
I am a little enchanted with my local mugwort, which I had instinctively rubbed and sniffed previously, when a friend told me a rumor that local natives used it for meditative purposes. Later I read that it was used by some brewers as a bitter.

I am using Lalvin D47 white wine yeast in a small batch currently.
While I was looking around I noticed a few different ranges out htere than what Lalvin recommends.
The manufacturer (Lalvin) suggests D47 ferments best from 59 to 68 degree Fahrenheit.
