Is this true? Would a vendor that deals with Fire (like Adam's Fire in Rockaway NJ) or paintball place (like Paintball Depot in Oxford, NJ) also have the same issue? Thanks.
I have a corny keg with a little bit of rust in the quarter sized "dimple" in the bottom of the keg. It's about a 1/4" wide. I'll try using some of the suggestions in this thread. If I can't get rid of it will it be a problem? Thanks.
There was a thread a while back about using a whisk. They recommended this one. It works really good for me.

Thanks everyone for getting back to me. I think I will give it a try. I have seen some kegging videos on youtube where they clean the keg with PBW and disassemble all the fittings. This seems like it may not be necessary every time. It does take me a few minutes less than an hour to bottle but I...
With everything considered, how long does it take to keg. It seems like it may not be that much faster than bottling from videos I saw on youtube. It typically takes me <1 hour for 2 cases. Thanks
I have some recipes that call for flameout or 0 min hop additions. I have been letting the wort cool to 185 then add the hops for 15 minutes then cool the wort to fermentation temps. I was never sure if this is how it should be done. Thanks.
I have several lagers I have planned to brew while it's still cold out so it may be a couple of months but I'll report back. I'm interested too. BTW, I will be using yeast from empty bottles Bell's which is what I have done it the past.
My goal is to replicate Bell's Two Hearted Ale and was wondering if anybody had experience with both. I made a recipe (1st link) several years ago and it turned out almost identical and just as good. Bell's recipe (2nd link) seems quite different, especially with regard to the dry hopping...
I brewed this beer (Two Hearted Ale) several times about 2 years ago. It tuned out nearly identical to store bought and was very good. I used this recipe:

This thread got me thinking about brewing it...
I was wondering if the powder on my grain mill from crushing grains from brewing isn't the same as diastatic malted barley flour. Does anybody know, thanks?
I ended up taking it apart and cleaning it, that fixed it. There was one small washer that I'm not 100% sure where it goes. I'm pretty sure it goes ion the impeller shaft after the impeller. Thanks.
