My Coopers Pilsner has been in the carboy fermenting for 12 days now and still going but now i am noticing a whitish ring on the inside if the carboy. is this normal for a pils? I am fermenting at 68 degrees as suggested. Does anyone have experiance with the coopers pils?
ok thanks everyone. I got the blowoff in place and everything looks fine and working like it should. I just hope i didnt get any bugs in. its late here so i went to walmart and snagged a fish tank vacume and took off the tubing and worked it into the hole the airlock goes in. worked out fine...
the head of foam fell off and has exposed the cap of the airlock and it still seems to be releasing co2. not clogged. so am i ok till i get a tube in place?

Newebie question. the one thing i wasnt prepared for has happened. My ipa is bubbleing over. do i leave the foam or is it ok to , with sterilized rag wipe thetop of the airlock to clear away the overflow? I dont have tubing and a spare stopper to run a tube. Will this beer be ok or should i...
