    Beer =/= fat

Pizza burger FTW! I drink mostly Home brew and Malt liquor. And i've noticed a big difference over the years, since now i'm at the heaviest i've ever weighed. I dont eat much, but I usually have a 6 pack during the course of a night

    Copenhagen

I'll do a dip every great once in a while, but that's by far one of the worst vices i've seen people have. I've been smoking for while, much more rewarding than chewing. Anyways, I love a cigarette with a brew The only time I smoke anymore is mainly when i drink or have NOTHING to do but sit...

Need help from SERIOUS AUDIOPHILE! (Pics included)

It was basically the standard for small broadcasting companies across the US. Almost everyone had one, even ham/short wave radio operators. They used them for sports announcements and schools since they were inexpensive. They ran that mic for nearly 30 years before new technology (FM radio and...

    I fear.. I may be a monster....

Only been brewing for a little while. 30 gallons of carboys are fermenting in my living room as we speak. Once you get bit, you'll have to amputate the parts of the body that made the beer, and only then more beer wont be made.

I have never cared for Budweiser.

I'm not a huge fan of BAA, but better than most. On tap is a whole different story, changes the attitude of the beer and gives it more of a craft presents

    Whatever Happened To Dive Bars?

*thread bump There isn't a lot of dive bars around your area though. There is one bar on the corner of Vandyke and Hall road that I been too a few times and that place was alright. Can't remember the name though. Head north, go Almont. Check out Mikey's or Paradise. 15-20 minute drive will...

Looks like I may be done brewing for a while

All my GM's have/had over 200k miles on them, all run good. Speaking of which, I gotta fix a hose on my Lumina, got a little loose and leaky. As for my fords and Dodges, all are probably processed into pots and pans by now, lol.

    You're no longer a n00b when...

    339. When your Brew supplier calls you and your friends V.I.P 340. You've went to the brew shop 2 twice in one day, not because you forgot something, because two batches in one day isn't enough. 341. You have more carboys fermenting in your house than you have people/pets combined. 342. You...

    Low Gravity, too low?

I wasnt going to try it, but I was curious. How about adding more DME that's been boiled and cooled? Say another quarter cup in about 10-20oz of water? I'm getting less concerned with it. I have 5 Carboys full right now (this hobby turned obsession quickly). So I guess it wouldnt be too...

To soon or just go for it?

I rather have a cloudy beer than a green one. Blah :(

    Low Gravity, too low?

Honestly dont remember. Usually do so i'd like to say yes. It looks and smells great, I shook the hell out of it when I pitched the yeast. So far it looks lighter than any of the Lagers or pale ales i've done so far, but that is what i'm going for. All my brews look close to a porter more...
