    I have a mead going that is similar to this but instead of juice/cider, I used a Apple Pie juice that had all of the spices in it. The juice by it's self is delicious and I figured it would make a great mead. Thinking about letting it sit and age until next year.

    Cranberry Mead

    I started one a few weeks back using the plain cranberry juice and 2lbs of honey in a 1 gallon batch. I plan to back sweeten with a cup of sugar after I rack it since the juice was very tart.

    I was thinking of adding a can of pumpkin to the must and mainly just using the syrup for extra seasoning/sweetness. If I only make a gallon batch do you think one bottle of syrup would be enough?
