    1 gallon growler on stir plate

    I use one for 2l starters it work fine. I can't get it going quite as fast as I'd like to because I only have a 1" bar at the moment which likes to spin off due to the shape of the bottom but a different bar would probably work much better

    An over powering spruce or pine taste is my biggest concern for sure that's we're I was hoping to replace some with the grapefruit peel. I plan on a 60 min needle boil but am not to sure how long to boil the peel to get some bitterness but still hold some citrus flavour?

    Thanks. I did a version of this a while ago with only 2 lbs added right at the start in the primary and it didn't retain much of the maple flavor. I was told this might help not sure if it will though

    So i brewed a lager about a month ago and didn't even think of temp control for a good two weeks. So I figured I would just see what would happen if I let it stay at room temp. Been a month now and it's still very cloudy will this ever settle/ what might it taste like? Should I just toss it?
