I just wanted to update this thread. After an extra week in the bottle (17 days total) the grain taste is completely gone. It's actually very delicious and I'm very happy with it! Thanks everyone for your help!

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but is there a reason that both of your recirculation ports are at the bottom? I always thought the return port should be near the top. Just curious if you had a reason for this. Also SUB'D!
