    Strange leftovers in primary

    Just racked a maple syrup extract recipe to a secondary, and found all these little "seeds" in the primary leftover. I used whole leaf hops for the first time, and I'm hoping that's what these are from, but any ideas or advice? Ever seen this before?

    Watermelon Wine

    Newly bottled IPA fizzes when opened

    The bottles are not yet in the fridge, and have been in the bottle for 2 weeks. I bought the corn sugar "pack" from Midwest for the 5 gallon batch, I think it was 1/2 cup maybe? Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

    Just opened a tester of my bottled 2 weeks ago IPA, and as soon as I popped the cap it acted as if shook up, about half of the contents spilling out the top if the bottle. I had a Christmas ale act similar, so I imagine it's something that I've done. Any suggestions on how to save the batch...

    Wine Kit Secondary -- Two 5 gallon carboys?

    Thanks for the replies, one more question. Instead of using the 5 gal Carboy and 2 .5 gal growlers where they are now, can I move the wine back to the primary fermenter for chemical additions and longer storage? Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew
