Duly noted [emoji106]. I've since found that a horizontal inlet/outlet orientation with outlet above inlet is one of the two recommended orientations. Will be adjusting my setup to reflect this. Current configuration worked just fine but I'd rather avoid air pockets and potential damage to my pump.

Just hooked mine up with a top inlet and a right facing outlet. Bottom valve is an air bleed valve. Best setup for me as a tall guy. No more kneeling to adjust flow on the ground [emoji106][emoji106]

Finished up a 10 gallon batch of a basic pale ale today. The NEIPA I brewed on Tuesday is flying right along (Right). Think I'm gonna need to have some buddies over to drink all this brew. [emoji481][emoji481][emoji106][emoji51]

Today I'll be brewing a NEIPA with Belma/centennial/comet. Haven't seen anyone using Belma so I'm curious to see how the flavor works in an IPA. The recipe I'm using is similar to the one Clawhammer Supply used in their Juicy NEIPA video on YT. Time to get up and get the coffee started. Happy...

Hi, I'm new on HBT, but I think that's a great idea. I'm actually looking to buy an oak barrel myself. Been brewing for a year and I just finished up a 10gal batch of an Irish stout that I thought might age nice in a barrel. Where are you purchasing yours from??
