    T-58 Yeast shelf life

I like your way of thinking. Since I got you on this subject how about Hops? Got Styrian hops stored the same way. Should I just throw it away? I'm not too worried about it cause I figure got to use it during the boil.

    T-58 Yeast shelf life

I used some T-58 Belgian yeast just a couple weeks ago and then had some left over. After wrapping it up and putting in tupper wear and putting in the fridge, how long will this yeast last?

What sugar to use for bottling?

I have an IPA coming up soon. I got the recipes from Brooklyn Brew Shop book. They say to use honey for the bottling sugar. Does anyone disagree with this?

swamp cooler ice (directly touching fermenter?)

    Shame in chucking?

If it is beginning to annoy you looking at a non drinkable beer then throw it away. Take pleasure in the fact that you are making room for a beer that you want to drink.

Do some beers put out more gas then others?

You know that's all I needed to hear...

Do some beers put out more gas then others?

That makes me worry cause the Bourbon Dubbell is higher ABV then the IPA. Bourbon Dubbell is 7.0% and IPA is 6.8%

Do some beers put out more gas then others?

I am brewing a Bourban Dubbell and an IPA. The IPA on the first day of fermenting put out gas bubbles for 2 days straight. The Bourbon Dubbell on the first day of fermentation put out bubbles for about a day. Should I be worried that the Bourbon Dubbell has gone bad? Or do some beer brews put...
