That's what I thought too... I called their corporate, and they say the code on there is for two 5lb tanks :( I have a friend whom AirGas gave an old tank to in exchange: he came back a month later to get it refilled, and they wouldn't,saying the tank had expired and he'd need to buy a new one.

See attached image with tank off and hoses off, the keg pressure heads for the roof in just a few minutes. ... As this is a new unit, I'll take this offline to Danby.

Not sure how quite to do that and still keep it under positive pressure... but did put the tank and regulator into a water-filled cooler and found three leaks in the regulator. I've heard some threads here say "don't submerge the regulator", but this is the tropics, so pretty much submerged all...

Does it mean anything that the beer PSI remains constant when the keg hoses are on... or when the keg hoses are off that the beer pressure gauge heads for its maximum, or are those expected behaviors? Is there a procedure for un-tapping the beer so I can shut-off the tank when not in use (to...

It takes awhile... I have to walk away. Normally goes to zero over an hour. I wear hearing aids... and turned them up to 11... no hiss. Bubble tests pass too.

I have two gaskets in there now ;) ... the o-rings supplied were the wrong size. I'm pretty sure it isn't the tank.

Where letters/numbers are etched into the tank, it is not smooth.

... that orientation is mostly to make it easy to monitor: I just moved it to that. Strangely, I can't rotate 90 degrees to vertical, or the tank will cut the hose.

Trying to find a slow leak. Bubble test is coming up empty. Brand new dual-guage system. Gauges came pre-assembled from Danby... hoping to not have to disassemble. If I turn-off both keg hoses and the CO2 tank, the main gauge very slowly drops from 750PSI to zero, and the beer PSI raises to...

Unsure... I picked it up; they don't know my address. When I first dropped them off, they said they will be filled in a week... it took three weeks.

My two tanks are 5lb each. I only got 10lbs total. I knew they'd overcharge... and short-change me (they've done both in other circumstances before)... but I wasn't prepared for how much. There is only one other place to get CO2 (and they normally charge $30 per 5lbs), but they get theirs...

I've been ripped-off by AirGas too many times. They even short-changed me .6 lbs. Said the reason for the high cost is it's "food grade" and they follow FDA procedures... they'll BS until you just walk away, knowing it won't do any good to argue with them. See the receipt, attached. Note...

How much should CO2 cost? ... AirGas just charged me $170 for 10 lbs.
