Hi,
I'm just getting into adjusting water. What are some great avenues for information on adjusting water ph for mashing and for different styles of beer
Planning on fermenting under pressure via Torpedo Keg from more beer.
Concerns - will this thing explode on me? I will be using a spunding valve ( might just buy one from more beer )
How much pressure is too much pressure to ferment under?
Should I build or purchase ? I want to hear...
Anyone know of a place that sells 1 -3 gallon all grain kits. I'm tired of breaking out the measuring equipment when i want to split a 5 gal kit
I just want an easy pack that has everything i need, that i can brew in a bag over my stove.
hey jmrybak,
I've been following this thread for almost a year now, but can't see the pics anymore. I was highly interested in getting a spike kettle built in the same manner since I don't have much space. The pics would help me describe to them what i would want. Much appreciated if you can...
hmm, these apartments were probably built in the late 80's is my guess. I guess i can take a look at my breaker. If its on a 20 amp circuit then, my hope is that the wire used is a thick enough gauge to handle the 20 amps. Wouldn't want to cause a fire or anything.
I guess if everything is...
I guess my real issue is, I live in a rented condo and I can't really change any of the circuits in the condo. So standard everything. I do however have a standard NEMA 5-15 GFI outlet in the kitchen I can use
Yeah I don't plan of doing bigger batches any time soon. 2.5 gallons would be the biggest. I was hoping to find a solution I can just plug in a regular outlet. Ideally a manual induction burner that runs on a 15 amp circuit with a pump that can do the same for recirculating the mash.
