I'm going to be making a Blue Moon Clone soon, and the recipe calls for Corriander Seeds. Would substituting Ground Corriander change the flavor of the beer at all?
When you said that you added ice cubes to cool it down, did you add it directly to the wort? I believe that 1.053 is in the range for an American Pale Ale.
You shouldn't need to rinse at all. I use Star-san all the time and sometimes i rinse and sometimes i don't. So far i have not noticed a difference between the two.
I have been brewing for a while, what i am looking for is info for the future more so than right now so i can start using a similar setups while finalizing my recipes.
