I bought an old fridge to ferment in. I didn't realize that the external thermometer crapped out and it's been around 50* for two weeks. Should I try to re pitch or just bring the temp up and wait it out?
I brewed my first batch on Saturday and made a few mistakes. 1. Forgot to clean kettle. 2. Forgot to sanitize scissors for yeast 3. Pitched at 85 f*. 4. Couldn't cool down for 3-4 hours. Just want to know if the beer will be ok. A few pictures it has a white film and want to know if it's normal...
