    Jim Koch is not happy

I still like their Rebel IPA. Boston Lager was never my thing. Poor guy, he is like the middle child who is in need of some attention.

    Prioritizing Purchases

I definitely want to do my own DIY ferm chamber with a mini fridge. That is on my list of things to do. Currently, my garage has a pretty stable cool temp between 60-70 degrees, so nothing has been terrible. However, being able to control the temperature will be the bees knees!

What craft beer do you secretly despise?

I cannot get into sours. I don't know what the craze is. Also, I will drink any beer regardless of the taste (as long as the price is right, aka free).

    Beauty

The time and effort makes the spoils of the victory that much more sweet! Looking forward to getting my next batch going as soon as I can.

    Beauty

Do you ever pour out the first bottle from a batch and stare at it's beauty? This was my second batch (Caribou Slobber) and it is mighty delicious and pretty to look at. Brewing is such a pride filled experience. Cheers!

    Bottling or Waiting

I just bring it to a boil, let it boil for a couple seconds, and then turn the heat off and let it sit and cool down as it goes. I have had no issues with my beers doing this method.

    Racking To Bottling Bucket Question

I figured the oxidation would be through the roof by doing it. Doesn't hurt to know before hand, rather than finding out the hard way! Thanks guys
