yeah, I bought it by mistake. I had a brain fart in the shop and said victory when I was thinking Vienna. Not being a quitter, I decided to toss in 6 lbs of 2 row to help conversion and give it a shot.
Just finished my second brew of the weekend. I call it Victory for New Zealand. 50% 2 row and 50% Victory. With 4oz of Wiamea. It will likely be awful, although the wort tasted great pre hop.
I am brewing a tripel inspired imperial abomination of a beer. 6 gallons, 20 lbs of grain, 4 lbs candi syrup, 4 oz saaz, and 2 oz hallertauer mittelfrueh. it should be a good time.
This is a session belgian I am trying to develop. The beersmith files are attached. I really like how this beer is coming along, it is full bodied, and really doesn't taste like a session ale. I would love to get some other people's feedback on this recipe.

I make a white IPA that comes out pretty orange. For 6 gallons I use 10lbs pale 2 row, 5lbs white wheat, and 1.5lbs red wheat. I have no idea what Hofbrau uses, but mine is very similar in color to the image you posted.
I am going to be installing two 120v water heater elements in my 14 gallon ss kettle. My question is regarding what size I should get, the space I am going to be brewing in has two 20 amp circuits, but all of the outlets on those circuits are only 15 amp. Am I asking for trouble using 2kw...
