    Yep its just starting to get cold dropped to 25 last night,Yakima is pretty nice, there are a lot of hops around here, and apples... How did your dads applejack turn out?

    Brand new brewer, could use some insight

    best thing to do to carbonate while sweetening is add the correct amount of real sugar for carbonation ( your priming sugar) and add your non fermentable sugar then bottle and carb. Now you have a carbonated sweet cider I think you should have these supplies am i wrong?

    I have fermented cider in the bottle it comes in before to and left the lid on loose and it worked fine probably better to make a makeshift airlock though out of tubing that runs from the lid into a glass of water. Anyways to answer your question there are two ways that i know of to get it...

    So I started some wine about 2 days ago and added the yeast. I waited and I cant see any bubbles but there is a thin layer of foam at the top.
