Those crazy Aussies, Ian and Graham seem to have dropped of the face.

Last broadcast was December 27. I know there was a break for the Hols but this is getting on 2 and a half months.

Did the Big Wet take them away?

How did I miss this thread? I've been wondering the same thing. In fact I found this by googling "craftbrewer radio 2010" wondering if maybe they started a new page. But nothing. I guess maybe it's time to email them and see what's going on.

Last time something like this happened I was a fan of the "Coupla fat guys" cooking vidcast. It was these two Chicago Blues musicians who did these crazy cooking videos. In the middle of the height of their popularity they just stopped posting. Nothing for over a year. I did a google search a few months ago, and found that one of the guys had a long bout with cancer, iirc, and died not long ago.

I really hope nothing bad happened to Graham or Ian, or family members to make them give up the show with no notice.

I e-mailed Graham a few weeks ago to find out the same thing and he replied that he isn't going to do any more shows unless he feels like it and that he doesn't feel like it right now. I e-mailed him back and said that I hope everything was OK in Oz and I never heard back.

I guess that makes 4 people that miss the show?

maybe we should send him a card

man, thats a real shame. I haven't kept up in a while ( I guess bc they aren't posting) but I really enjoyed the show.

OK so where can I find the archived shows? Who has em and wants to deal? I see that is is/was the longest running beer podcast.

Help anyone?

PM me please.

Looks like they pulled everything down. I was searching for their article database two weeks ago and it appears to be gone. That's where the shows were.

Their podcast used to be on iTunes. Looks like its been pulled from there too. I MIGHT have some older ones on my old computer.

It's hard to believe it's been a year since their last show.

Some how I missed the "Longest running beer podcast" ALL OF IT.

Was it any good?

I finally peiced together that Grahm somehow put together some bulk hop buy from China and it was crap or something.....

well someone please pm me id pay "shipping" for a dvd or cd of files.

It was "good" They knew their stuff. They were also really full of themselves. I thought they were really funny in that kind of dry not really funny way.

In light of the thread Necro here, there are some folks interested in the old Craftbrewer radio show. We are trying to put together a bunch of the lost episodes and compile them on this site. If anyone has any other episodes, please PM me and we will get them added. There are a bunch of 2009 episodes here already. The password is graham.

Sorry, the link you clicked is no longer active.

The Craftbrewer website can still be seen by using The Wayback Machine
(“that’s right Sherman, “the Wayback Machine”)

Goto
http://www.archive.org/web/web.php

and enter the URL for the old website ... http://radio.craftbrewer.org

click on the year to view and then find the highlighted dates on the calendar.

While the downloads are not archived there (as far as I can tell) ... the descriptions of episodes etc. can be seen.

On the Wayback Machine today I found every podcast up to end of 2006. I don't think above link works though, just google Wayback Machine.

Is there a repository for these things?
I've got a little more than 1.25 gigs of data.
Don't have many episodes from 07 and 06.
I could upload them if anybody wants to provide a space.

I have (all?) 120 of them going up to September 2009 which I'm happy to share, but I don't know the best way of doing that. Also, I'm a bit busy moving house at the moment...

Cheers,

Les
