I want to make nice hoppy, malty beer based on an American Amber. I have taken my grain bill mostly from Yooper's Recipe here. I have altered the hop schedule and added a bit to that. Any input would be appreciated.

Sorry if it's a bit hard to read, brewtoad doesn't have the best output.

I assume the flaked oats are for a creamy mouthfeel, while the victory is for "toasty" flavors?

While that is a rather unconventional grainbill, I like it! It looks like a rich malty American red, with a ton of hops flavor and aroma.

Thanks! I was hoping you'd see this!

The flaked oats were a sub, although not a perfect one, because I don't have access to "Golden Naked Oats" that you used, and I have several pounds on hand. I thought a nice creamy mouthfeel with good head retention would add some good complexity.

The Victory was also a sub where you used Biscuit, as my LHBS doesn't have that either. This thread stated that it was a good sub.
