This is my first attempt at a Black IPA and really am excited about it. This is a recipe I came up with, and any input would be great. Thank you.

12 lbs 2-row
1 lb carafa III dehusked
1 lb crystal 40
.5 lb Munich

18g Magnum at 60
28g Simcoe at 15
28g Amarillo at 15
28g Simcor at 5
28g Amarillo at 5
28g Amarillo at 0
28g Simcoe dry hop for 7 days
28g Amarillo dry hop for 7 days

Wyeast 1272
Mash at 154 for 75 min
OG 1.060
FG 1.014
31 SRM
59 IBU
6 gal Batch

Personally I would bump the gravity up into the high 60's low 70's and bump up the ibu a little. I like a bit of chocolate malt in mine as well. I think the Carafa III is key and I do like your use of Munich in the grain bill, I have always had good luck with Munich in IPA's.

My Black IPA recipe is below for comparison.

Recipe Type: All Grain
Yeast: US-05
Yeast Starter: none

Secondary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 2 days at 70
