Chris Colby from BYO had a recipie in the October 2007 issue for a crazy "beer" called Beelzeboss. It was a part of a "countertop partial mashing" article and used Mountain Dew instead of water.

I was thinking of trying it for a friend who loves Mountain Dew as a gift.

Does anyone have the recipie (inclduding the partial mash instructions)?

There is a version of a mountain dew based recipie on the BYO site, but this was an earlier version and used less soda. The Oct 2007 refinement is supposed to actually taste pretty good!

Bring this back to life as i picked this BYO up out of the pile the other day and pondered doing the recipe as well and wanted to see if there had been any recent attempts. I think I am going to do it this weekend, but may do it all grain, so will have to think about volumes of water and mt dew a little. Let me know if you attempted this.
