It's very subjective, I know, but i'm always open to new music ideas for my exercise routines. Otherwise, I find less and less impact from listening to the same playlists.

What doesn't agree with me would be violent or obscene gangsta rap, the entire R&B genre and the freaky dance craze stuff (trance, techno etc).

My running music has been a mish mash of mostly movie sound tracks, high-octane stuff (Prodigy, P.O.D, Eminem etc), 80's classics (C & C Music Factory, Snap!, 2 Unlimited etc) and a little modern pop too (Imagine Dragons, some Katy Perry mixes etc).

Check out the newest heart-pounding addition to my workout playlists and tell me the song at 36:55-40:09 doesn't get your juices pumping :rockin:!:

If you like the Prodigy, you should check out Pretty Lights. All their stuff is available for free on their site through emailed links to high quality .mp3s

Im all over the place with music in the gym. Usually is something like Machine Head, FFDP, Slipknot, RED, Atreyu, (early) Thrice, Deftones, etc. Sometimes Ill go Three 6, Tech N9ne, or other older rap. Hell, Ive even worked out to Mozart or Beethoven. Just like the muscle group, depends on the day...

Acacia strain, whitechapel, Thy art is murder, IF you're into real metal. Turisas, Amon Amarth are god if you're into viking metal.

So wait....metal only? Things like Ratatat get me moving pretty solid.
