Good Morning All,

IMHO we are in a really neat period in automated homebrewing. Several companies are working to bring various level of automated brewing equipment to Market. It is interesting to watch. Wonder if in 10 years we will look back at this period as the Dawn of Automated Brewing Products or blip in brewing evolution that never quite took hold.

Consider:

Pico C

Mini Brew:

Brewie:
https://brewie.org/

Igulu:

I am sure I missed a few.... truly an interesting time...I suspect other hobbies are having a similar evolution/revolution....

Without platforms like Kickstarter and indiegogo, I suspect this never would have happened. I doubt many folks could come up $1M plus required to bring these products to market without these platforms....

Yes! Truly a cool evolution taking place!

Obviously Zymatic and brewie have the first foothold.

Btw I didn't know about the mini brew. Pretty neat looking. Website is light on beer details, which means it's pretty locked in or just not ready for prime time just yet. The summer shipment date will probably not be accurate.

Interestingly, the brasii failed to meet funding. Poor marketing or poor design/perception?

Igulu seems pretty neat. They do make it sound like you can buy and use your own ingredients, unlike Pico C. They also will have packs you can order to brew for different recipes.

I don't think they've started shipping yet though, so no idea how well they well they will actually work, or what company support will be like.
