This is what I'm planning for tonight...thoughts?
10gal batch
20lbs Superior Pale Malt
Mash at 148f

1oz Falconers Flight @ 15min
1oz Falconers Flight @ 10min
1oz Falconers Flight @ 5min

chill wort to 140-150f... 5oz Falconers Flight and stir...let sit covered for 30-60min.

Chill as normal

ferment with some us05 slurry from a previous brew (transferring tonight).

I may dry hop each carboy with 2oz

massive hopstand FTW. I usually let mine go for a full hour though. Much longer than that doesnt seem to help any more. One time I took a break (*passed out on my bed*) waiting out the hopstand and ended up letting it go for 3 hrs. No noticeable improvement over 1 hr though

For my SMaSH beers, I like to toast 1/2lb or so of the malt in the oven and use that in the mash. Some may consider that cheating though. Another time, I collected the first runnings and boiled it separately down into a thin syrup and added that back in. I guess the point of it is the lack of complexity though
