I have a corny keg that is about half full after a being on ice at a party and tapped with CO2 and picnic tap. I don’t have kegerator space for short term storage ~2 weeks until I bring this keg to another event and empty. I do have a garage that is a steady 54 deg F. I used a keg carb chart and need about 18 psi at 54 deg to maintain the 2.4 vol. Anyone see any issues with storing this keg for a couple weeks like this? I can top off the pressure every few day just to be safe.

I also have two more kegs that need to be force carbed. I plan to do the same at 54 deg. Any experience with time to carb at warmer temps? Normally takes me 4-5 days of in 38 deg fridge, without any extra efforts.

Understand none of this is ideal, but my options are garage at 54 or out side that is fluctuating form 30-60 right now.

Why would you need to top up CO2 if the beer is fully carbed and assuming there are no leaks?

Force carbing at higher temps is faster than at lower temps.

Thanks. Just topping up in case there is a small leak and it’s sitting for 2 weeks. No leaks when I filled the keg, but never now. Guess it makes sense at higher psi it will carb faster.
