Plans are still in flux. We're only planned as far as Joshua Tree on 4/19, hoping to make contact with friends who live in the area there. If not, we'll tentatively be in SanLo/Paso Robles 21-23, visiting many of the wineries and stocking up on Pinots for SWMBO'd.
This trip has been unlike most past trips where our itineraries have been fairly tight with little wiggle room for weeks at a time. This one is ad hoc with trip planning pretty loosey goosie. I tend to be a little too 'anal' about making plans, so this journey has been more about "smelling the roses" and serendipity. I actually have been enjoying it better, even though old habits can be hard to break. So far, so good.
